Case Studies
Client: British Rail
Date of event: 3rd April 2006
Type of event: Supplying nine Dixieland Jazz trios at nine different British Rail Stations in the South West region of England to celebrate a new route servicing the South West. Jazz not Jazz sourced the bands, briefed them after liaison with the client and supervised the day.
Client feedback:
"Hello Jeff,
From all accounts the day was a great success and speaking to my colleagues who were at the stations where some of your groups were playing, the jazz went down very well.
I myself was at Taunton and that went very smoothly indeed - the response I had was that there should be live music at stations every day of the year - it certainly lifted the mood of the travellers.
Thank you for all your help on this project and I won't hesitate to use you in the future and to recommend you and your groups for other clients/events.
Kind Regards,
Jonathan for Kaizo (The British Rail Events Management Team)
Client: JP Morgan
Date of event: 2nd June 2006
Type of event: Supplying a band for the Round the Island Race on the Isle of Wight. We were asked to book a background "Dinner Jazz" band, organise a ferry and all transport arrangements to play for JP Morgans top clients/investors during an evening dinner. The outcome is that JP Morgan want the band for the whole weekend next year.
