Wedding Music for a Gay Marriage

My wife and I were out with gay friends the other night who, in the course of the evening, invited us to their wedding. If you are gay and reading this you will know that from December the 5th you can begin the process for a civil ceremony that can take place on or after the 21st of December.

Wedding music for a gay marriageIt was the first I have heard of such legislation although in the back of my mind there was a faint recollection of an article about David Furnish and Elton John getting married about the same time. Being a musician and business person it occurred to me there is now a whole new market for our musical services.

What do you want from a music supplier? We would be delighted to hear from any potential gay clients about their marriage wedding music requirements. Why not contact us via email at bonejeff@aol.com We use some of the finest musicians in the capital in all areas of musical excellence and are confident we can help make your day one to remember.

What can we offer as your music supplier? Below are just some ideas we would be happy to discuss with you.

Gay wedding musicFor the ceremony: Solo Baroque trumpet, Classical guitar duo, Male or Female String Quartet or solo male piano/vocalists

For the pre wedding breakfast drinks reception: All Female Jazz Trio/Quartet, Acoustic Dixieland Trio/Quartet. Strolling Saxophonist.

During Dinner: Dinner Jazz played as a solo, duo or trio. (Any more than this tends to be intrusive)

After Dinner Dancing: We recommend the Roadhouse Five. Quite simply the best party band around today. Top professional side men from such artists as Van Morrison, Eddie Reader, Kate Bush, Take That, Eric Clapton, Beverly Craven and Phil Collins. This is not a function band of tired jobsworths, nor is it a young inexperienced band of kids out of college. Instead it is a real, hard rocking, hard grooving funky band who know how to make a party swing!

Normally the band will play a set of swing and Rat Pack classics whilst your guests are getting over the rigours of your speeches and dinner. This is followed by two sets of classic sixties and seventies soul and pop. If requested we can also augment the band with a true soul diva for a full set of seventies disco.

If you have a special request we are normally able to fulfill it. Thirty out of thirty three requests for a special song were met over the last year. If you have a guest who you would like to sing with the band this can be done as well. It works best in the first set or beginning of the second before the serious dancing takes hold.

The Roadhouse Five will play anywhere in the UK and beyond, they are happy to comply with any reasonable request for costuming, in fact they love the opportunity to dress up!

Once we have had some input from potential gay clients on suggestions and requests for music for their wedding we are hoping to include other musical styles and suggestions for the wedding celebrations of gay men and women.
