Most Sundays through the year find myself and many of my musician friends playing for a Jewish wedding or Barmitzvah at some top London hotel or other. With many years experience in the business I am happy to recommend the Roadhouse Five Party Band for your upcoming event.

Sundays are always something to look forward to. As an enthusiastic foody, the hospitality of Jewish clients is much appreciated! Sunday is a day to take it easy on the food front knowing there is a good chance the band will be well looked after during the evening! We know that the dance floor will be full and musicians love an appreciative audience to work to.

The Roadhouse Five can offer most of what the average Jewish Wedding or Barmitzvah requires regarding music. In the afternoon we can supply a solo violin or clarinetist for the wedding ceremony followed by the full band playing extensive dinner music later in the day. During this time we offer selections from all the great Jewish song writers such as Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Lorenz Hart, Harold Arlen and Jerome Kern as well as music from more modern artists such as Lionel Bart, Burt Bacharach and Carole King. In the evening we offer two hours of solid Classic Soul and Pop from the Sixties and Seventies.

A special song can be learnt with notice and we are happy for a Barmitzvah boy to be accompanied by the band. We will play the National anthems of Israel and Britain for the toasts and we have a selection of traditional Jewish dance music as well. If an extra set of Horas is required we are able to play them, on cd, through the sound system.

We will look at your requirements, timings, the size of the room and then make a suggestion as to the size of the band. This starts as a five piece and can go up to seven for a really big event. Although the band features male singers we have added a female singer on request on a number of occasions. Music can be listened to on the website or we can send it to you in a cd along with a suggested set list and a list of glowing testimonials from past clients. We have an excellent sound system of our own or can hire in a larger system for really big rooms such as the Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
